Today I had the pleasure of visiting Dromore Central Primary School to chat to the Primary 7's all about the rainforests of the world, the amazing animals that call these habitats home, the threats they are facing and the 'wee ways' that we can all help!
This was a very special school visit for a number of reasons. Firstly I attended Dromore Central Primary when I was a little explorer so it always feels a bit special to be invited.
Secondly one of the amazing Primary 7 teachers, Miss Cochrane, and I were born at the same hospital on exactly the same day and grew up at primary school together so it's always good fun to reunite and catch up...
and lastly there was a very special explorer in one of today's sessions as my eldest nephew, Noah, was in one of the classes. I couldn't be prouder of this little explorer and it was fantastic to meet all of his classmates.

A massive thanks to everyone from Dromore Central Primary School for making me so welcome today - it's always a fantastic school to visit!
